URGENT – Call to Action – Bonding Bill
Dear Friends of Bertram Lakes,
The House and Senate bonding bills came out last week and both include funding for Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park. SF 2360 includes $3.9 million and HF 2700 includes an unspecified amount.
Both bills face numerous hurdles and WE NEED YOUR HELP for them to pass.
We have included a list of the Wright County Legislative delegation below. Please contact them today. These bills could hit their
respective floors as early as TOMORROW and so your action today is extremely important.
Urge them to support the bonding bill when it reaches their respective floor for a first hearing and a vote. Without their support it is unlikely that Bertram Lakes will make it through the subsequent conference committees. Their initial support is CRUCIAL to the future of the Bertram Lakes project.
Let them know how important preserving this pristine wilderness is for future generations.
