Several members have asked for an update on the call to action that Friends of Bertram Lakes sent out a few days ago. Here is the latest news:
SF 2360, the Senate Bonding Bill went to the floor, and was passed onto conference committee.
Senator Dille voted in favor of the bill, while Senator Koch voted against it. She was in attendance at a press conference afterwards speaking in a negative way about the entire package.

Dear Friends of Bertram Lakes,
The House and Senate bonding bills came out last week and both include funding for Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park. SF 2360 includes $3.9 million and HF 2700 includes an unspecified amount.
Both bills face numerous hurdles and WE NEED YOUR HELP for them to pass.
